The gallery was founded in lockdown 2021 by Joe Wilson when he decided to set up a gallery above in a night club in Cheetham Hill with a mission to disrupt the local art scene. Smolensky Gallery is now the newest and only gallery space in Manchester exhibiting international street art and artists.
The Galleries aim to fearlessly showcase the best emerging, established and international artists.
